Total Telco Specialists’ is a turnkey provider of services to the telecommunications and cellular industries. Services include management and installation of cell sites, antennas and microwave radio systems.
This position is full-time with benefits, including Medical Insurance, after the probationary period. Candidates must be able to complete and pass a background check including a drug screen. Salary based on experience. Local applicants only please. Applicants MUST be located in Northern California or planning on moving to the area.

Microwave Radio Technician
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The MW technician is responsible for installation and commissioning of MW systems for cellular carriers. This includes experience with microwave systems manufactured by Nokia, Aviat Networks and Ceragon Networks.
• The MW technician will use the following equipment to test the MW link:  JDSU HST-3000, Frequency Counter, Spectrum Analyzer and Digital Voltmeter.
• The MW technician will conduct site audits and create the close-out package for the cellular carrier.
• The MW technician will take the lead role in working to resolve problems with the customer and tower crew that may arise during installation.

Requirements:

• Two-year technical degree in telecommunication, data communications or equivalent military experience is required.
• Must possess fundamental knowledge of AC/DC circuits, and understand the safety aspects of working in high voltage environments.
• This job requires proficiency in Windows-based computers and MS Office applications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record that allows you to be insured.
